Graham – Leading

Helping run Staying in the Vine is always a privilege; to see lives change as participants encounter God through the meditations and respond to His presence. Interestingly those who are most reluctant regarding meditation and contemplation are often those who make the biggest breakthrough! Participants have often been transformed in truly remarkable and life changing ways; by their own admission they are more content, peaceful, full of the joys life brings, more secure through life’s difficulties and seem to radiate God’s love and presence more into the world around them. They are at home with God.

Running Staying in the Vine for our small group was also a huge privilege. People drew close to each other very quickly and we have since continued to use meditation and contemplation as a weekly input into small group life. Having fewer numbers (8 members) also made a difference as people had more time for sharing. We thoroughly recommend giving it a go in your small group setting, but equally feel the course lends itself to any setting where people can meet together regularly and are eager to discover more of God for themselves ie youth group, prison, old person’s group etc All you need to do is provide the space and God will do the rest!
